What counts as a daily game
One puzzle per calendar day, identical for every player, usually with a shareable result and a streak. Wordle set the template in 2021, and the games below cover words, geography, sport, music and film built the same way.
How this ranking works
Each game is scored by the number of times its card was shown to a player, on the win screens of other member games and on this directory, over a rolling 30 days. The score recomputes every hour, nothing is paid and nothing is hand picked.
Finding a Wordle alternative
For games like Wordle but not Wordle itself, look further down the list. Most Wordle clones keep the six guesses and colour hints but swap the word for a country, an album or a score line.
