Play SpanzoA fresh puzzle is waiting for you.

Spanzo asks a numeric question each round and gives you two anchored reference values to guide your estimate. You drag or tap the mystery item onto the scale between those anchors or beyond them, lock your guess, and then the true value drops onto the scale so you can see how close you were. Each round is scored out of 100 points based on proximity.
A Daily consists of five rounds chosen from sixteen topic categories, with rounds increasing slightly in difficulty and no more than two considered hard in any Daily. Everyone worldwide plays the same five rounds for that day. A perfect Daily yields 500 points, answers include a one-line explanation and a source link, and the top 50 daily scores appear on a leaderboard that resets at midnight.
Spanzo is free to play without an account and provides a three-day free archive of past Dailies, with the full archive available to Spanzo Pro subscribers. Finished Dailies produce a shareable link so others can play the identical rounds and compare round-by-round closeness; questions that have been a Daily are not reused.
How to play Spanzo
- How to play Spanzo: view the two known anchor values on the scale and decide where the mystery item belongs relative to them.
- Drag or tap the mystery item to position it between or beyond the anchors until the placement matches your estimate.
- Lock in your placement to submit your guess and watch the true value drop onto the scale to reveal the distance from your guess.
- Repeat this process for each of the five rounds, then review your score, explanation, and source for every answer.
Tips for Spanzo
- Use the anchors as proportional guides rather than absolute markers; place the mystery item relative to the numeric distance between them.
- Start broadly on early rounds and refine your placement on later rounds when scales tend to be narrower or more precise.
- Pay attention to the category shown for context clues about typical magnitudes and units before locking your guess.
- Lock confidently rather than over-adjusting; the game awards points continuously by closeness so a reasonable anchored guess often beats overthinking.
