Play Clues & CulpritsA fresh puzzle is waiting for you.

Clues & Culprits presents a daily lineup of logic cases in which every suspect speaks truthfully and your task is to prove who is guilty and who is innocent. Cases use a fixed grid size per difficulty (Easy 4x4, Medium 4x5, Hard 4x5 and Sunday Evil 5x5) and a verdict only counts if it holds in every remaining scenario that fits the clues.
The site features a recurring cast of 75 characters across twelve classes and theme packs that collect fifty cases each. Three new cases unlock daily at midnight in your own time zone, the last seven days are free to replay in the browser with no ads, and every past case keeps its page, hints and walkthroughs while a Pro option unlocks older archived content and packs.
How to play Clues & Culprits
- How to play Clues & Culprits: start training on the tiny 3x3 case if you are new, then pick Easy, Medium or Hard for the daily lineup.
- Read the statements from suspects; every statement is truthful and one suspect may begin already proven.
- When you can show a verdict holds in every scenario consistent with the clues, mark that suspect proven and add their statement to the case file.
- Use the built-in scenario counter and the game’s prohibition on guesses to guide deduction until every verdict in the case is proven and the case closes.
Tips for Clues & Culprits
- Begin with the pre-proven suspect and immediately add their statement to reduce the set of open scenarios.
- Use the scenario counter to measure progress; focus on moves that reduce possibilities rather than trial accusations.
- Reread the specific clue the hint points to before attempting the suggested proof, since hints list the exact statement to inspect.
- Play at the difficulty that matches your time and appetite: Easy for a short puzzle, Medium for the full experience, Hard for clues that combine across statements.
