Play MusicleA fresh puzzle is waiting for you.
Musicle challenges you to identify albums from brief audio samples drawn from tracks via the Apple Music API. In Regular mode you hear one sample per album and pick the correct album from four choices; three secret albums are presented each day. The site offers many genre-specific flavors including jazz, classical, soundtracks and region-specific selections.
There is also Musicle Royale where you hear six samples and must match them among nine album covers without making any mistake. The game supports Statistics, History of the last two weeks of selections, and a Musicle League with weekly rankings updated on Fridays. An optional one-time Premium purchase removes ads on the current device.
Gameplay variants include a Challenge Mode that shortens samples to five seconds, and multiple flavor menus for specialized collections like K-pop, video game music, and Brazilian genres. The app displays album details and links to listen on Apple Music, and provides share and clipboard features for results.
How to play Musicle
- Open Musicle and pick a flavor or the default All flavors selection.
- In Regular mode tap the play icon to hear the sample for the current album and then tap the album cover you think matches it.
- When you are confident, tap My guess to confirm if your chosen album is correct; a correct guess reveals the next album in a new column to the right.
- In Royale mode tap the top play icon to hear up to six clips, click the albums you think you heard among the nine shown, and confirm by tapping the Heard it! button; one wrong click ends the round.
Tips for Musicle
- Start with distinctive elements like instrumentation or production details to narrow down likely genres before scanning covers.
- In flavors focused on specific styles (for example K-pop or VGM), rely on stylistic cues from short samples to eliminate unlikely albums quickly.
- Use the album cover preview to read artist and release details before finalizing a guess when you recognize visual or textual clues.
- If you find the default clip length too long, enable Challenge Mode for five-second clips to practice rapid recognition and sharpen listening focus.
